Associate Prof. Dr. Kamen Kotsilkov PhD, MDM.
GRADUATION & SHORT BIO
Dr. Kotsilkov has been practicing dentistry with focus on Periodontology and Dental Implantology in Sofia for more than 21 years.
Dr. Kotsilkov has served as an honorary assistant professor for the Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University in Sofia between 2001-2005. Since 2006 until 2015 he has taken the position of assistant professor in the Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University – Sofia. His path continued with a Postgraduate specialization in Periodontology in 2008. The same year he attended International Summer school for Clinical Periodontology and Implantology in Heidelberg, Germany.
Since 2015 Dr. Kotsilkov is an associate professor at the Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University in Sofia.
Moreover, he has obtained a Professional Master Programme II level on “Soft tissue management around teeth and implants” from the University of Bologna.

Assoc. Prof. Kotsilkov is a founding member and the current president of the Bulgarian Society of Periodontology.
Assoc. Prof. Kotsilkov is an active member of the Sofia Dental Meeting Association, the Bulgarian Scientific Dental Association and the Bulgarian Dental Association.
