All-On 4 / All-On 6

All-on-4 / All-on-6 is a treatment we offer for fully edentulous patients. X is the number of implants in each jaw. Four implants are the minimum. Although the price of 4 implants sounds more attractive than that of more, sometimes at least six implants need to be placed in each jaw. There is no universal situation, so after an intraoral examination by our specialists and a CT scan, the patient will know the exact number of implants needed.

Treatment of the problem

After the initial examination and planning, our dental technicians will create two types of guides – prosthetic and surgical. These make the surgery much easier for the specialists and ensure that the implants are placed exactly in the planned location.

What is the process?

Local anesthesia

Under local anesthesia, a flap is opened and the bone is exposed. Through the surgical guide, using a series of drills, a "bed" for the implants is created. Then the implants are placed into the bone.

Suturing of the flap

The flap is sutured. In this procedure, the restoration of missing teeth is done with the so-called hybrid bridge. It is something between a denture and a bridge. In most cases, it is made of plastic – part of the gums and teeth are restored with this plastic, but it has a much smaller volume compared to a conventional denture.

Stability of the implants

It also allows for 60% restoration of chewing function, as it is attached to the implants and does not move. It can be placed up to 48 hours after the surgery, so the patient can enjoy a new smile sooner. It is important in this case to achieve good primary stability of the implants. This is measured after the implants are placed using a special device.
