Immediate or instant loading of implants refers to placing a temporary crown on the implant within 48 hours after the surgical procedure. This approach is especially suitable for patients undergoing intervention in the front (esthetic) area.

There are certain indications for this type of implant treatment. During your examination and after the CT scan, our implantologists will inform you whether you are a suitable candidate for this type of treatment.

What is the process?

Immediate loading

Immediate loading can be performed when you are in good health, are not a heavy smoker, and have a sufficient amount of bone tissue. The implant placement can be done immediately after tooth extraction, in the alveolus of the extracted tooth, or at an already healed site.

Surgical Planning

After careful planning, the surgery is performed. Before the procedure, our dental specialists create a surgical and prosthetic guide, which helps ensure the operation proceeds precisely. Thanks to these guides, accuracy is increased, and implants are placed exactly in the planned location. This also shortens the surgical time. In this type of implantation, a flap may be opened, or the implant can be placed directly into the extraction socket. The implant must have good primary stability to allow for immediate loading. If the implant does not have good primary stability, immediate loading cannot be performed.

Primary Stability

Our specialists will measure the primary stability of the implant using a special device. If the initial stability is sufficient, the temporary crown will be placed. The healing process takes about 3 months, after which the permanent crown can be installed. More than one implant can be immediately loaded.
